The Cub section is for young people aged 8 to 10.5 yrs old and they are grouped into "Sixes"

The cub scouts have an exciting and varied programme throughout the year, ranging from activity badges and challenges to outdoor activities such as climbing, canoeing , abseiling and visits to theme parks. The highlights of the year are undoubtedly the camps: the cubs go to an indoor winter camp every February and an outdoor camp under canvas in July. They also take part in several district events such as the swimming gala, chess and sports days.
